My first exposure to the Porsche Automobile was in 1966 at my first REAL job working at Modelcraft Raceway (known later as ABC Raceway) a slot car track owned by Curt and Belle Ball. They owned a 912 and a 356B that I immediately fell in love with (although they never let me drive them!). I was totally hooked at that point and could not wait until I could afford to buy my own, which I had to wait for several years. I bought my first one in 1973 upon graduating from IU.
